It’s time to return home to yourself.

Mental Health Retreats in Sisters, Oregon

When you’re constantly overwhelmed by daily life, finding time to slow down and reflect can seem impossible.

Always being pulled in different directions by the demands of work, family, and endless to-do lists is a recipe for stress and exhaustion. Life gets busy, but if there’s no time leftover for you, it’s a slippery slope to losing touch with who you are. It can feel like there’s no space left to breathe, let alone reconnect with the deeper parts of you.

A mental health retreat offers a sanctuary from the chaos, giving you the space to step back, refocus, and reconnect with who you truly are outside of the roles you play in life. Here, you can find peace with yourself, identify what really matters to you, learn to set appropriate boundaries to uphold your values, and create an action plan to live by them. By taking this time for self-care, you can rediscover what it means to feel balanced and well in all areas of your life—emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual.

Take a pause from the hectic day-to-day and connect to clarity.

Group retreats are great for those who…

  • Work in or are close to helping professions—such as teachers, medical professionals, or spouses of first responders

  • Want to supplement the work they’re already doing in therapy

  • Have never been to therapy before

  • Want to make more space in their lives for self-care

  • Are ready to dive deep and be introspective

How it works

A nourishing experience for the mind, body, & soul.

These one-day retreats take place in the beautiful mountain town of Sisters, Oregon, and provide a chance to step away from the busyness of life to focus on yourself. It’s a holistic experience where you’ll engage in activities that tap into both your creative side (like music and art) and your analytical side (like exploring your core values and beliefs). You’ll also have time to reconnect with your body through activities like yoga or massage, enjoy a nourishing meal, and spend time in nature. Overall, each retreat is designed to help you return to a more centered and grounded place within yourself.

We’ll figure out how this time can be most effective for you, and I’ll tailor the experience accordingly.

Retreats are offered quarterly and tailored to the unique needs of the individuals in each group, with special attention given to those in helping professions, first responders, and their spouses.

Before the retreat, we’ll have a one-on-one session to help you prepare, set intentions, and decide what you want to focus on. After the event, we’ll meet again one-on-one to debrief and reflect on your experience. These pre- and post-sessions can take place in-person at my office in Sisters, or online anywhere in Oregon.

Though this retreat is not therapy itself, it is therapy-adjacent. It can be a great introduction if you’re curious about therapy or serve as a powerful complement to your ongoing work with a therapist. In either case, this retreat offers a space to dig deeper, identify areas for growth, and explore what might come next for you. It’s an opportunity to step back, reflect, and find clarity on the challenges you face, whether you’re looking to make a big life decision or simply want to reconnect with who you truly are.

Give yourself the time and space to reconnect with what matters to you and rediscover balance, purpose, and joy.

Frequently asked questions

  • Because each retreat is heavily customized to suit the needs of the participants, the cost associated with them can vary. Each event is estimated at a cost between $300 and $600, which includes the pre-retreat session, the one-day in-person retreat, and the post-retreat session. For a more precise estimate, please contact me directly.

  • A mental health retreat is a dedicated time away from daily life in a peaceful setting, where you can focus on your well-being. These retreats typically offer a range of therapeutic activities, such as creative activities and mindfulness practices, designed to help you reconnect with yourself and work through mental health challenges.

  • While similar in some ways, a mental health retreat is not the same as a therapy intensive. Therapy intensives usually involve concentrated, focused therapy sessions over a short period, often with a specific goal in mind. Retreats, on the other hand, tend to be broader, integrating various activities aimed at overall well-being, rather than just focused therapy.

  • Many traditional health insurance plans do not cover retreats, as they may be seen as more of a wellness experience than a medical necessity.
